Michael Marder is Ikerbasque Research Professor of Philosophy at the University of the Basque Country, Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Since 2008, he has been an Editorial Associate of the Journal Telos (New York); since 2011, the General Editor of "Political Theory and Contemporary Philosophy" Series at Bloomsbury (formerly Continuum Press); since 2012, the General Editor of "Critical Plant Studies" at Rodopi Press; and since 2013, the Co-Editor of "Palgrave Studies in Postmetaphysical Thought".

A frequent contributor to Al-Jazeera and El Malpensante, he blogs at Project Syndicate and New York Times' "The Stone".
